"RENAISSANCE STORIES" is a spectacular original performance that combines Bulgarian folklore with the spirit, words and music of the Revival. The performance is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outbreak of the April Uprising and 150 years since the death of Hristo Botev - two significant anniversaries that bring us back to the self-sacrifice, love of freedom and the uncompromising spirit of the Bulgarian Revivalists.
The performance also brings to life some of Hristo Botev's most intimate poems - "Your Mother", "My Prayer", "Elegy" and other works that have become Bulgarian literary classics. Interwoven into the rhythm of music and dance, they acquire a new stage life and carry a strong message for the preservation of historical memory and national self-awareness.
