The production does not recreate the film. Instead, it draws on the elegant prose and perceptive humour of Svoboda Bachvarova, transforming them into a “hidden cuckoo” meant to wake us from our own delusions.
Through the clock face of the theatrical stage, we can compare our own time with that of the characters and hear questions that have been postponed for far too long. The comedy turns the hands of our inner clock towards the time we are living in today.
Humour works like an X-ray - revealing the fears we hide, as well as those that are simply impossible to swallow.

This comedy does not attempt to step into the shoes of the legendary actors from the film. Instead, it follows its own path across a bridge connecting a bygone era with the world we live in today. It raises questions that feel particularly sharp and relevant now - such as why a victim continues to feel guilt, and even gratitude, towards the person who deceived them.
The performance is a whirlwind of humour, comic twists, clowning and situational comedy - all built around one serious question: why do we continue to trust those who deceive us most elegantly?
The action moves at such a fast pace that if you manage to catch your breath, it is only so you can hear the next lie you are about to believe.
The seller of illusions - Mr Dangerous Charm himself - has opened his shop for all of us! If you decide to cross its threshold, you may want to make sure you have taken out identity theft insurance in advance.
