TANGO PIAZZOLLA IS GOING ON A SUMMER TOUR!
The first 100 tickets in each city are available with a 10% discount using promo code TANGO.
Following the sold-out concert at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), which sold out six months in advance, TANGO PIAZZOLLA is now embarking on a summer tour across Bulgaria!
Created by Vesko Eshkenazi and Stoyan Karaivanov, this large-scale musical project brings together artists from different continents and generations, united by the music and living legacy of the legendary Astor Piazzolla.
For the first time, Bulgarian audiences will have the opportunity to experience Astor Piazzolla’s living legacy from such a close perspective. Especially for “Tango Piazzolla”, created by Vesko Eshkenazi and Stoyan Karaivanov, Daniel Astor Piazzolla – Pipi, grandson of the legendary Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla, is coming to Bulgaria.
One legacy. One story. One unforgettable summer with the music of Astor Piazzolla.
The program includes some of Piazzolla’s most iconic works, as well as new arrangements created especially for the project by Maestro Vesko Eshkenazi and Bulgaria’s first bandoneon player, Stoyan Karaivanov.
The music will be presented through a newly created concept revealing the many different faces of tango. The program also features classic tangos such as La Cumparsita and El Choclo, which will be performed in Bulgaria for the first time in Piazzolla’s own versions.
This makes the concert a truly unique experience that cannot be heard anywhere else in this particular form.
Also appearing on stage will be Latin Grammy winner and double bassist Juan Pablo Navarro, joined by pianist Victoria Boyanova, dancers Nikolay Dzhurov and Dalia Dimitrova, as well as singer Venelina Boneva, completing the musical experience and transporting the audience into the authentic atmosphere of Buenos Aires.
