After three successful editions, “An Evening of the Musical” returns to Ruse with a new program, new faces and an even bigger production.
An evening in which the most beloved stories from the world of musical theater come to life on one stage. You can expect iconic songs and moments from Cabaret, Chicago, Mamma Mia!, Moulin Rouge!, Singin’ in the Rain, Tangled / Rapunzel and the Robber, Sweeney Todd, My Fair Lady and Wicked – gathered in a performance that goes from romance and tenderness to cabaret, jazz, humor and dramatic moments.
On stage next to Nikola Zhelyazkov will be special guest performers - Denitsa Doncheva, Preslava Velikova, Marina Petrova and ballerina Alena Gerdzhikova, who will bring their own stories, images and musical moments to the performance.
This year, “An Evening of the Musical” takes another important step forward with its live band, which will be part of the stage experience. On stage you will see Bozhena Petrova – piano, Alexander Atanasov – guitar, Lazar Benov – drums, and Stanislav Ivanov – saxophone and trumpet.
