"One Light" - Christmas Immersive Gala with Sonya Yoncheva and Friends

This Christmas, Arena 8888 will join a fairy tale brought to life - with an impressive 3D video mapper, music and ballet that will immerse you in the magic of the holiday.

The world-famous soprano Sonya Yoncheva invites you to "One Light" - a mass Christmas spectacle for the whole family, in which performing arts meet modern visual technologies. Over 300 artists, including more than 100 children, will unite their talents in a festive evening dedicated to peace, hope, closeness and the beauty of a shared Christmas.

On stage as soloists you will see and hear Sonya Yoncheva herself, prima ballerina Marta Petkova, tenor Marin Yonchev, the queen of Bulgarian pop music Maria Ilieva, Orlin Pavlov – an artist for whom the stage has no boundaries (singer, actor and performer). Together with them, artists from the Sofia Opera and Ballet, as well as children's choirs, will perform. The Sofia Opera Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Domingo Hindoyan, new music director of the Los Angeles Opera.

The impressive 3D mapper is at the heart of the experience. Large-scale projections, light and animated showpieces will transform the space and transport you to a world that unfolds before your eyes. Visual effects will intertwine with music and dance to make you feel part of the story.

The performance will take you on a journey in two parts:

"A Christmas Dream"

Immerse yourself in the fairy-tale world of "The Nutcracker" with the best of the traditional Christmas ballet featuring Marta Petkova. Music, dance and 3D mapping will bring the Christmas dream to life and transport you to where children's dreams come true.

"One World"

Discover Christmas through the holiday songs of different nations - from Bulgaria, through Germany, France and Spain, and even to the USA and South America. The voices of opera and pop stars, children's choirs and the orchestra will meet in a musical celebration that connects languages, traditions and generations.

Created by Sonya Yoncheva and produced by SY11 Events, "One Light" invites us to share the joy of the holiday and remember what brings us together.
