TEAM QUEST — A New Dimension in Team Grappling
On October 25, 2026, Sofia will host the first edition of TEAM QUEST — a new professional grappling format that is set to redefine the way we experience competition.
Created by LG Sports and RedDonkey, TEAM QUEST puts the focus not only on the strength and technique of individual athletes, but also on teamwork, strategy, and the decisions of the team captain. This is not simply a collection of individual matches — every bout is part of a greater mission, and every victory or defeat can change the course of the entire team contest.
At TEAM QUEST, captains will have to build their teams, assign roles, assess the strengths and weaknesses of their athletes, and make strategic decisions throughout the competition. The athletes, in turn, will need to demonstrate not only individual skill, but also the ability to execute a shared game plan and fight for the success of the entire team.
This is grappling where every match matters.
The format has been created with the ambition of giving athletes a bigger stage, greater exposure, and a genuine professional pathway. TEAM QUEST will feature cash prizes and individual athlete fees, with the goal of building a sustainable platform for athlete development and the growth of professional grappling in Bulgaria.
The inaugural edition will bring together teams and athletes in a competition where technique, physicality, character, and strategy will determine the ultimate winner.
