Bulgaria will host the European Boxing Championships for men and women. The historic event will take place from 17 to 25 September at Asics Arena. More than 400 boxers from across the continent will step into the ring, including Olympic, world and European champions and medallists.
Bulgaria will be represented by its finest boxers in both the men’s and women’s competitions. The men’s team will feature reigning European champion Rami Kiwan, five-time Strandja Cup winner Radoslav Rosenov and Olympic bronze medallist Javier Ibáñez. In the women’s competition, world champion and four-time European champion Stanimira Petrova returns after a two-year break. She will be joined by multiple European medallists Zlatislava Chukanova and Venelina Poptoleva.
The event is hosted by the Bulgarian Boxing Federation and organised by European Boxing.
