Mrs. Zdenka Smochilovic, a still-young widow, is looking for a new husband. The selection process turns out to be surprisingly entertaining — and unexpectedly difficult.
Her suitors include: an artistic drunkard, an elegant diplomat, a charming athlete who, due to an injury, can no longer fulfill his marital duties, a hopelessly dim-witted peasant but still impressively potent, and a plastic surgeon with connections to the British royal court.
