The “TALASAMCHE” Children’s Choir will present its concert programme at the National Academy of Music in two parts.
The first part will feature anonymous and classical works from the pre-Classical and Classical periods, Church Slavonic chants, and contemporary choral compositions.
The second part will present folk arrangements by Bulgarian composers Nikolay Kaufman, Todor Popov, Petar Lyondev, Filip Kutev, Krasimir Kyurkchiyski, and Dilyana Micheva.
The “TALASAMCHE” Children’s Choir has the honour of being selected to participate in one of the world’s largest choral competitions - SING FOR GOLD & WORLD CHORAL CUP, which will take place from 22 to 26 October 2026 in Calella and Barcelona, under the auspices of the international choral organisation INTERKULTUR.
The World Choir Games will once again bring together choirs from all over the world in 2026. The event is open to amateur choirs regardless of the continent they come from, the musical genres they represent, or their artistic ambitions. Choirs from around the globe are invited to compete for medals, earn a place in the World Rankings and, most importantly, compete for the prestigious Golden World Choral Cup, which will once again be awarded in 2026.
Every two years, choirs from all parts of the world come together to celebrate the World Choir Games. Experiencing this international choral festival means taking part, contributing with your own performance, comparing your achievements with those of others, and sharing the excitement of singing together. It is a celebration of music, song, and the joy of life.
Our participation in this festival aims to showcase the talent of Bulgarian children abroad and encourage their efforts to develop as artists and well-rounded individuals. We believe that in challenging times for society as a whole, special attention should be paid to culture, as it gives us confidence as a nation and presents our identity to the world.
