SoFest presents two concerts with one ticket – Jazz Dynamos and Lady & Gents

The British band “Jazz Dynamos”, who have performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals and venues, will appear in Sofia for the very first time. Exclusively at SoFest, Mark Adelman – keyboards, Anders Janes – double bass, Dominic Metz – drums and backing vocals, Stuart Curtis – saxophone, flute and piccolo, together with the impressive vocalist Lucy Randall – percussion, will present a fresh and unique mix of jazz, bossa nova and samba. It promises to be a concert that fans of swing, Latin music and ska-jazz simply should not miss.

The evening will continue with even more music, combining the melodic richness and improvisational freedom of jazz with the distinctive rhythms of ska and reggae. “Lady & Gents” is Bulgaria’s first Ska-Jazz band, featuring: Georgia Pavlova, better known as Lady G – vocals, Yasen Obretenov – keyboards, Borislav Rashkov – bass, Yasen Vasilev – guitar, Petar Aleksandrov – drums, Aleksandar Borisov – trombone, and Vladimir Mitin – trumpet. Bringing together traditional jazz and early Jamaican musical styles, the musicians will perform their original compositions and are sure to get the audience dancing.
