“OLD SONGS ON NEW STRINGS” is a project by the “Gotse Delchev” Ensemble, inspired by the ensemble’s rich archive and by the desire to revive, preserve, and pass on old instrumental melodies and choral songs to future generations. The title of the project symbolizes the connection between past and present – works created and performed by the ensemble years ago are brought to life once again by today’s performers.
The concert features musicians and singers from the “Gotse Delchev” Ensemble, as well as guest musicians who took part in restoring the works and preparing their new stage interpretation.
Conductor of the “Gotse Delchev” Ensemble: Daniel Ivanov
Scriptwriter and Director: Asen Pavlov
