The fisherman and the gold fish

How does a poor old woman with a rather unpleasant personality suddenly transform into a queen, munching on the most delightful cookies and commanding an entire retinue of subordinates? Well, it happens like this: the old woman’s husband is a fisherman who catches a golden fish. But when someone loses all sense of proportion due to greed and vanity, sooner or later they become a laughingstock before the entire kingdom.
